Current Status: Fortt is currently in data collection mode. The SDK will collect device fingerprinting data and send verification requests, but it will not show challenges to users or block any requests. All requests will be allowed while Fortt builds risk profiles and improves its detection capabilities.
Zero User Impact: Fortt operates completely in the background with zero visual impact on your users. There is no degradation of user experience—no popups, no challenges, and no interruptions. After the trial period, you’ll receive a comprehensive traffic analysis report, and you can then choose whether to enable challenge/blocking features based on your needs.

How Fortt Works

Fortt operates through a client-server architecture that evaluates risk in real-time:
  1. Client SDK: Your React application uses the Fortt SDK to collect device and session information, then sends verification requests to Fortt’s API
  2. Risk Evaluation: Fortt’s backend engine analyzes multiple signals including device fingerprint, network characteristics, behavioral patterns, and velocity checks
  3. Decision Response: Based on the risk analysis, Fortt returns a decision:
    • ALLOW: Low risk, proceed with the action
    • MONITOR: Moderate risk, allow but track for analysis
    • CHALLENGE: Higher risk, require user to complete a challenge (e.g., CAPTCHA)
    • BLOCK: High risk, deny the request
  4. Page View Tracking: Automatic page view events help build a risk profile over time, improving future decision accuracy
